Participez à ces ateliers et apprenez les bases de la mosaïque : design, choix des couleurs, coller, faire les joints et finir la mosaïque.
Sont utilisés des tiles pré-découpées de différentes formes, tailles et couleurs.
La base est un carré de MDF de 6’’x6’’
Quand ? 2 fois par mois les mardis et jeudis matin ou après- midi
Durée : 3 h
Tarif $25/personne pour le matériel , base en bois et tiles.

Brigitte Messali is a mosaic artist. Born in the south of France, she moved to the USA in 2001 and lived 8 years in the Middle East. She studied all the mosaic technics from the ancestral way to the more modern technics along a 3 years diploma at the University Saint Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon.
She participated in various exhibitions : Artomatic in Virginia (USA) in June 2011, Holon and Pita Tikva Israel) in 2014, Galleria Pall Mall in London March
2015 and a solo exhibition at Swann House in Washington DC in 2018.
She is currently a resident artist at Artists and Makers in North Bethesda, where she offer classes and workshops. She works also with children, like the realization of a mural with the pre-schoolers of the L’Enfant international Montessori school in Bethesda in 2023.
Her African wraps triptyque is representing France at the Art of the Francophonie exhibition at the Ven Hotel in Washington DC.
This is what she says about her work : "A major part of my work is to translate in mosaic some famous painters like Klimt or Van Gogh or oriental artists. I elaborate also my own designs getting my inspiration from pieces of linen, carpets, china, combining shapes and colors to create a world full of colors, texture, scent and music. I use mainly glass tiles tesserae, gold, gold based glass tiles, mirrors, but also marble, stone, broken china and Murano millefiori. My work can be used everywhere to decorate your house on walls or floors. The most important is that EACH PIECE IN UNIQUE."
